Field of Echinacea Angustiloia cultivated at Teardrop Farm
With the increase in the use of herbal medicines there has become a concern for the over harvesting of wild stands of certain plants. Most of the echinacea purpurea is now being cultivated but most of the echinacea angustifolia is harvested in the wild. With echinacea ranking in the top three herbs in demand there has to be a concern about over harvesting. At Teardrop Farm all the echinacea angustifolia used in our extracts is made from cultivated organically grown roots and flowers.
